In other news...
...on September 30, 2009, Matt and I will officially be home-owners! The deal closed on Thursday evening. We're still pretty close to "home", and have already started figuring out what reno work we're going to want to get around to.

Heh. No, I think you're confusing the home reno's ability to result in knock-down-drag-out fights with genuineness badness, Austin. Don't blame the reno, blame the reno-doer. :P

How can you not like planning for renos?! Isn't that like not enjoying being in a candy store? Sure, you can't have everything, but it's damn fun to imagine you can, while you're there!
First up is the flooring, actually. I don't think my allergies would much appreciate all the carpeting. We're probably going to address that before we even move in. Once we've saved up for kitchen renos, that's most likely going to be the next Project. As it is, it's more counter space than I've ever had, so I'm pretty happy about it.

Heh. Party details pending. It all depends on when we're actually moving in. If I've restarted this contract position again, it's looking like the Christmas bash will be the time we can have everyone over.
Congrats on your new home! The pictures look good. Like the walk-in closet :). WHen do you move in?
